$425,000 Settlement Reached In TOMS King Unpaid Overtime Lawsuit
Conway Legal is pleased to report that a $425,000 settlement has been reached in the firm’s unpaid overtime lawsuit involving TOMS King. The settlement resolves claims that Restaurant Managers and Restaurant General Managers-in-Training were denied overtime compensation in violation of federal law between August 21, 2017 and, in the case of GMs-in-Training, January 31, 2019 or, in the case of AMs, December 31, 2019. The settlement has been approved by the Court and a notice describing the lawsuit and the settlement was sent to those eligible to participate on September 22, 2021. To receive a pro rata share of the settlement, eligible individuals must return a “Claim and Consent to Join Form” to the settlement administrator on or before November 6, 2021.
